March 2004 -- Professor Corey Schou, the director of the Informatics Research Institute reported progress on an international website to delegates from the principle economies of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperative. The projects bring Information technology awareness training and education materials to individuals from around the Pacific rim.
The site https://apec.iri.isu.edu has materials in Chinese, Vietnamese, English, and Spanish. It has thousands of users each month.
